Things To Do

WELCOME TO BAKER COUNTY

Some people say living in a small town is difficult because there is not much to do, but I say living in Baker County gives you the best of both worlds, large and small. You will enjoy all the friendliness and hospitality that is part of a small town, while at the same time a quick 30 minute drive brings you all the amenities that Jacksonville has to offer.

THINGS TO DO...

If you enjoy relaxing with family and friends, you will have many options in Baker County. If your favorite activities include swimming, boating, fishing, hiking, camping, hunting, or grilling out, we've got you covered. You might choose Shoals Park, over 1600 acres of hiking, ATV, and equestrian trails or Ocean Pond, an 800 acre lake in western Baker County, with picnic areas and modern camp sites. You could also choose the St. Marys River or Little St. Marys River, pristine waterways that will take you back to nature. Or, you might choose the Osceola National Forest, a federally managed forest of 220,000 acres, which provides some of the best hiking and hunting in Florida.
